Final Image

Original Images

For this assignment, I learned how to replace the face of a subject in a photo. Throughout the process, I used tools in photoshop to make the new face match the color, light, and shape of the original face. Russell Brown, a Photoshop expert and the person whose face I placed on the original image challenged artists to edit his face onto images and designs. I found it hard to match the skin color and blend the hair into Russell's face.
List of tools:
- I used the brush tool to create a light shadow on the bottom and side of the face.
- I used the clone stamp tool to create more image areas on the left side of the face in order to cover the original person.
- I used the polygonal lasso tool to make rough selections of the face, hair, and ears.
- I used the eraser tool to create a more smooth transition from the background image to the new face.
- I used the object selection tool to select and change the color of Russell's eye to match the original image.
